Join us Wednesday, March 14, 4 p.m. in the MU Journey Room (104) as we celebrate the Encyclopedia of Women’s Lives Around the World book launch! We are proud to count three members of the ADVANCE team among the talented book editors and contributors. Susan Shaw co-PI for the ADVANCE Grant, and Nancy Barbour ADVANCE Grant interim project manager (2017), served as co-editors. Kali Furman, ADVANCE Grant graduate research assistant, is a contributor. Congratulations to all who worked on this timely and important 4-volume feminist encyclopedia that examines women’s lives within contexts of gender, sexuality, race/ethnicity, colonialism, and social, political, economic, and religious inequality in 150 countries around the world.
