Patricia Walsh will deliver a talk "Blind Ambition: Overcoming a pediatric brain tumor to then become a Paralympic hopeful" on Friday, February 24th from 11:00-11:50 am in Kearney 112.
Patricia Walsh is the author of Blind Ambition: How to Envision Your Limitless Potential and Achieve the Success You Want. She shares lessons learned as an award-winning engineer and world-class athlete to inspire others in exceeding their highest expectations.
Patricia has a degree in computer science from Oregon State University, becoming one of the first blind engineers at Microsoft. This event is co-sponsored with the College of Engineering.
