Congratulations to Dr. Alix Gitelman for her appointment as Oregon State University’s new Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education effective Oct. 15! Dr. Gitelman is a professor of statistics and a graduate of the ADVANCE Seminar. According to Edward Feser, Provost and Executive Vice President, "During her career as an academic statistician, [Dr. Gitleman] has taught, mentored, advised and provided problem-solving support to numerous undergraduate and graduate students, scientific researchers, collaborators and colleagues...and she received the D. Curtis Mumford Faculty Service award in 2015."
